Why Take Shape Occupational Therapy?

It’s personal. I received my fibromyalgia diagnosis in 2018 after bouncing from doctor to doctor desperately trying to figure out what was going on. I was noticing increasing amounts of fatigue, pain, and brain fog that were interfering with my daily life. After I was diagnosed I left feeling unsupported and unsure of where to start. It was not until I started bringing the principles I learned from my Occupational Therapy education into play that I started to feel a sense of balance and control with my chronic illness. And that should be shared.

Some of my meaningful activities include…

  • Pottery

  • Spending time outside

  • Working as an Occupational Therapist

  • Time with friends & family

  • Reading

  • Alone Time

Work towards engaging in more meaningful activities…
